Yes... naturally. People (plural) wearing masks not 50% of people in the same room... does no good if the non-wearers are infected.

Is this why doctors, dentists, and other hospital employees have worn masks forever? To protect me from them?
Don't get me wrong.. I'm not anti-mask. I work in a school where I'm around all sorts of people all day long; I wear one. It's simply an observation
that the justification, rationale, and the "goalposts" keep changing over the past 9 months.

People who fight against wearing masks are weirdos.
I don't know if they work or not, but it's no big deal to wear one.. The republican party screwed up on this majorly.

For some of us it is a very big deal!!
I have profound hearing loss
Big guns in the Navy
Dozen years racing Baja
25 years flying small airplanes.
I cannot hear much, and my hearing aids are long past effective.
It is virtually impossible for me to understand speech through a mask, both because it is muffled and because I cannot see your lips.
Yeah, I wear a mask, where expected.... but don't expect me to respond to your questions or your conversation, cuz I have no clue what you are saying.
And, by the way, California excludes mask requirements for under 2, health issues of certain nature, and those with profound hearing loss.
Yes I wear a mask.... and yes, it is a pretty big deal, sad to say.....

I think we all understand there are reasonable exceptions for most rules. Especially for physical/health issues. I work a lot with special ed
students. I know a bit about exceptional students. No one begrudges a person's need for allowances so they can reasonably function in society.
Now, an "emotional support" rattlesnake on an aircraft may be going too far. Even for a liberal.
I just think it's wonderful JZ and I agree on this. I know he's just a bit of a provocateur, and likely a good father/husband/friend.

grow up - educate yourself! Your personal agenda has long ago proven to be complete BS and ignorance. This thing has killed 350000 people This year,
its on track to be the #1 cause of death in the USA, and you keep spouting unicorn farts zabout it not being a virus and its a hoax etc etc etc etc.
Lets be a big boy and face facts - and do whatever we can to help combat the spread

And once and for all - can we all agree the marooons wearing ther mask with their nose sticking out are part of the problem here! If you are unclear
on the proper wearing of a mask, you probably ought not to be allowed in public - you obviously don't have the mental aquity required to be out
without your attendant!

The biggest difference in town is the silence. Normally these people party all night on Fridays and Saturdays. The music is piped in through
loudspeakers that ends past 3am. There is none of that any more in Asuncion. My neighbor usually has 5-6 grandchildren running around round the clock
with mothers dropping by to deliver or pick them. Now the two live alone in a silent home. People just don't visit one another any more.
However, the land is still the same. The ocean is calm and friendly. And the morning sunrises are as welcome as always.

There is also a volunteer, mobile "Boom Box" service to deliver music to those who do not live near a loudspeaker!
Sorry to hear about the outbreak, I wonder how for out vaccinations are for some of the smaller Baja communities?
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

Public service announcements on radio, tv, and internet as well as painted walls and billboards in public places, are prevalent in Mexico. Municipal
buildings have graphic posters showing the progressive benefits of mask wearing, (ie: no mask on two people, one mask two people..... both masked,
then 1 meter distancing.....with percentages of becoming infected, from 95% to 0%.
Very descriptive and effective constant reminders keep attention focused on prevention, and in the end most people adapt and comply as a daily
necessity, like putting on your hat when leaving the house.
I'm sure Joe has something planned in the form of public service announcements, surely could have helped if started 8 months ago.

Pfizer is being administered in Tijuana but it's out of the question here. The locals tell me that they're expecting to use China's vaccine with it's
availability coming in April. When you think about it a cold storage facility could be set up in Guerrero Negro and all the surrounding villagers
could drive to get vaccinated. Although that still wouldn't guarantee 100% inoculation because there are some without transportation. The China
vaccine is supposed to be 70% effective so it's not the best. Realistically, I don't see Asuncion being vaccinated by April.
Perhaps gnukid has some solutions. Camomile tea? A bowel purge?

Correction: it has killed over 2 million people. The US and Americans are not the center of the universe. Let's not dismiss the rest of the planet.

Paul,
Did you advise your elderly mother to take the vaccine? Or did you tell her it was toxic fakery of fauci and George soros? (perhaps you need her to
kick to give you part 2 of your trust fund.)
Or are you disassociated with your mama? Perhaps you left for Mexico to goof off on the beach, and your siblings are the only adults left that think
of and care for your mother in the time of covid, eh?
Woke!

will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”
