The guy should call around the shops that carry Ktm parts. Husqvarna and ktm share some parts.
Maybe a local bike shop could order the part more quickly than messing around with self-shipping via fedex.
Woke!

I just don't get why this is an issue. There are a number of companies who provide
This service.

I've heard DHL will get parts to you fairly fast, if you ship it from within Mexico. Tijuana?

I suppose sending from TJ is quicker and there's much less of a chance of it becoming "lost" than if it went through Mexican Customs/Mafia.

FEDEX, UPS, DHL all can experience some huge delays here.
UPS took 9 weeks to deliver a 1lb envelope to me.if the tracking was to be believed, it logged about 9k miles with several cross country detours.

Speaking of tracking... Scott said he was 'good' when I messaged him about Larry not having parts for his Husky. This morning he left La Paz very
early and is near San Evaristo now.

Bonny and Paul at Ignacio Springs B&B (The Yurts) ride bikes and might even have a part. DHL is the best package delivery service in Baja, in my
opinion.
