Dude, that was like 7 years ago. Things have changed.
Even the bills have changed, mexico has mostly new bill designs in past few years.

Given all the cambios are within a cent on the dollar in exchange, I'm going to keep using Casa de Cambio Dolar since it's got the easiest access to East POE. They also had no problem exchanging over $1400 USD without a rate hit.
