Sorry about the delay..I was..uh.. Easterized?..Yeah, that's it..a little Easterized.

But then, I'm always late. My ancestors arrived on the Juneflower.

Okay, a voice on the computer phone is telling me to get going again with this project. My wife, the voice, keeps complaining I never listen to her (or something like that). What I really need are minions.

Nomads...Thanks for the great help in picking a 'best' sunrise. I know it's a daunting task, and I'll endeavor to post all the sunrises today...come hell or high water.

Here's how the selections stand as of today:

#5 = Ist place
#11 = 2nd place
#14 = 3rd place

In all I have 51 sunrise photos for you to review. So far you have reviewed 21..leaving 30 to go. Are you up for that many? Tell you what..I'll post the remaining 30 in 2 batches.

Quoting LaTijereta, "There are some nice front runners in the race, and I was going with #.., but maybe I should wait to the home strech to place my bet..
Rumor in the padock is there is a dark horse in this race.."

No dark horses that I know of, LaTijereta...just lots of sunrises. Excess is never too much in moderation. ;)

Here's the 3 current frontrunners, followed by the next batch of sunrise photos. Please pick 1 favorite and we'll kick this can along.

Hooray! The Last Sunrise Photos..

Russ..Is it time for your medication or mine?

Okay, photo fans, here are the LAST 12 sunrise photos. It is time for the Grand Finale.

I am doing this during Consciousness, that annoying time between naps.

WHICH SUNRISE will win? We shall see. Please view these last 12, compare to all above in my last post..and vote.

I will let this run until an appropriate amount of time has elapsed to decide a winner from a broad consensus of Nomad votes....say 2 or 3...

5 it is. If I could only show you my boat (buried under the snow) and my palm tree (frozen like a daquari) then you would see why I too have chosen number 5 for my screen saver.

Thanks again for warming up my Easter.

The ballots are being counted.

Great choices and responses all. Thank you very much. Muchas gracias, amigos.

Yes, the ballots are being counted..along with some of those pesky hanging chads.

I am getting lots of emailed and U2U votes and will enter them all into the final tally.

To my friend Up North who sent me the artic tundra sunrise. Stunning..just wish it was Baja.

Keep those votes coming in....the clock is running out.

Winner to be announced at noon tomorrow. That's Baja time, naturally!
