Before the Campo Rene road, this was the Punta Abreojos highway in June 2017.
More to come!

Vizcaino Peninsula Roads & Signs, continued...
Abandoned campo at Punta Falsa. Now back to Asunción (via the paved roads from Tortugas).
Excellent graded road between Bahía Tortugas and Punta Eugenia.
In 2017, about 20 kms were unpaved.

Very cool, Jim...
More Loreto area signs, roads, or otherwise:
The start of it all... as far as California missions are concerned.
The founding father.
Code name: Rattlesnake Beach. Just south of Puerto Escondido harbor entrance.
South of Loreto... the 3rd California mission was here, a few feet from this sign. Nothing remains of it since 2001.
One of the famous El Camino Real bells made by Mrs. Forbes, 100 years ago to mark the route in California.
Stayed here in 1973 when it was the Playa Loreto Hotel.

If you missed the first sign, you have a second chance.
Double the fun.
Seven Eleven? I don't think so.
What I'm doing at work is so secret, even I don't know what I'm doing!

On my last trip, I noticed many instances of double-road-signs like that. What are they thinking???
And speaking of 7-11, here's the "7-Lleven" in San Felipe from 2001:

The 11-7 was just South of Mulege, across from the gas station. It is something else now.
