It's legal but not very nice. It's annoying to those who don't share you political viewpoints.

Why insert them into every thread, threads which have nothing to do with politics? That's a bad habit, David.

I wouldn't call that veering into Politics, more like veering into economics. :)

Come on Ford people! We all know that Baja loves Ford best.

Mike, Ford is tied with the the #1 Baja vehicle right now... that speaks very well of a Detroit product!

Perhaps someone has mentioned this, but Consumer Reports rates, in general, Fords as the best US vehicle and Toyota as the best import. It seems that Nomads are within the mainstream of savy buyers.

I am rather surprised that GM is getting pounded so badly, though. Lower than "Other"? That is embarrassing.

I was just teasing all you Toyota people. I'd love to have a Toyota Tundra. But I'll probably buy another used F-150 in a year or so.

I have three Ford Trucks.

1989 Bronco that lives at my Baja house.

1995 Bronco that I use to drive to Baja.

2003 Excursion that I use to tow my boats to Baja.

Different stokes

When Toy makes a one ton with diesel, I'll be buying one. Until then, for power, room and workability, there's just no comparison. Toy is a small truck, full size is full size.

I have put my Tundra through a hell of a lot and it has not given me any problems. <knock on wood>. It lacks the towing power of some of the 3/4 ton - 1 ton trucks made by the big 3. As far as 1/2 tons are concerned, I feel like you can't go wrong with a Tundra.

2008 Chevy 4X4 Suburban for us. Tons of room for 2 dog's, 2 kid's, and 2 adults, along with a marine sized cooler and all our other stuff. We have been all over Baja in our rig.

'92 Chevy Silverado 2500 extended cab 4x4 with 170,000 miles on it. Not easy on fuel, but one tuff and reliable vehicle. Paid cash for it back in '94. Gas has to go a lot higher before I'm gonna spend $20 to $30 K on a newer rig.

Ooooh, 36-35, big lead!

Seriously, isn't it sad that here in America the American brand isn't far and away the biggest leader in a poll like this?

What does that tell you...?

It tells me that Nomads are careful of what they drive into Baja with... and that Ford and Toyota are so far ahead of all the others (in voting so far), that I would seriously look at these two brands over the others.

Don't worry, before it's all said and done, I will also be looking at Toyota. But, if it were for a full size truck, it would be FORD all the way. #1 selling full size truck for over 3 decades.
