How about a little spiny ray action, off my dock back in the 90,s on Long lake northeastern Wash,
[Edited on 6-2-2013 by baitcast]
Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.
I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.

moving my boat this month further into the Delta; I've been on the Bay side for a few years now and want a change of scenery. Plus, if this water
issue goes the wrong way it could spell the end of the Delta and I want to get back there before that happens. Used to be more in the Delta by Bethel
Island but moved towards the Bay about 5 years ago. BTW, I'm a woman, not a guy. This happens a lot. Maybe I should post a pic |
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - A new survey finds that sport fish from rivers and streams in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta have higher levels of mercury
in their systems than fish taken from anywhere else in California.

Love the pictures! Looks like you put that boat through a whole lot to get to where you were going!

Thanks Igor for the pic of the river, for those of you who haven,t slept next to a river like that you need to add that to your bucket list, the sights
and sounds must be experienced to fully appreciate the scene.

Whoa! beautiful pic. don,t you just love a scene like that? been to a several like that in Idaho but for me a small mountain river like that is
heaven, the thing that a river has is its ability to talk to you, many times before you see it you may hear it then thru the trees WOW there it
is,although a gentle surf has its own music, then we have Baja.

TD Kitten...Love the Pic of Virginia Lake, my retreat for four of the last six years, after driving past the Conway Summit turn off for 30 years. The
campground is OK, lodge is very convenient and Carolyn's fly fishing information is fantastic.
My other place to feel homesick for when I am Away, along with Asuncion.

Very true. Each has it's own special properties. There is no 'best' in these matters.
Have you ever walked the dewey grass banks of a BC lake in the early morning and watched the mist over the water?
Have you ever waded the shallows of Henry's Fork and seen the gentle dimples of trout on it's flat surface?
Have you ever stood on the granite boulder of a sierra stream and looked upward along the cliffs, to the green skyline, and seen those white clouds
pass overhead?
Have you ever been at Tuolumne Meadows and felt as though you could reach those clouds just above you?
Have you ever sat in a float tube on a bass pond and looked across the water and seen the cottonwoods all lit up with gold from the setting sun?
Those are the visions of a fishermen.

Aspen groves in the fall all lit up in gold late in the day on a BC lake,I have fished Henrys Fork as well as Henrys lake Igor,a favorite pass time of
mine has been to look down, deep clear water,I can not pass a body of water without wondering what kind of fish live there
Lost track of the number of times I've watched eagles and Osprey take fish, life around water is fascinating,we miss our place on the lake
and I remember that pic of the boy and that beautiful fish.

Well, he's no longer a boy like that. He's at the junior prom tonight and I'm here waiting for the midnight telephone call to go pick him up.
Moreover, he's gone to the dark side. Yes, the world of surfing is now exerting it's strong pull ( ).

Fly fish 6 months within 150 mile radius of Bozeman. Spend one week off OR/WA coast chasing salmon and albacore. Rest of the time in Baja.
