wow...ummm...so there are several options for visitors to stay in Asuncion and fish or surf....from our beautiful La Bufadora Inn to a more economical hotel La Playa & Verduzcos Hotel & Casa del Mar B&B and Campo Sirena for camper types... none of us are busy so building something else just doesnt make sense.

We now have an excellent professional masseuse for ya'll and she ROCKS and is super economical.

Gypsies new watering hole should provide a meeting place for visitors to have some fun and she will process and freeze fish too.

There arent many organized activities as most of us simply make our own fun with what nature provides us...pristine beaches, mountain bike trails, surf breaks, hiking, fossil hunting, eating at the several yummy restaurants and hangin on the patio with friends.

Lencho....the hyperbaric chamber is staffed by professionals....a doctor is there and is it always busy as they also treat diabetes patients in the chamber.

We love the slow pace and under developed aspect of the area. It is a working fishing village with a smattering of visitors from time to time and that suits us just fine. It is what some people come here for....a quiet getaway.

I love folks who apologize for their drunk posts...hahahaha...cut a buck some slack...he's OK in my books....and is a dreamer.

thing is that the kind of people who come here usually dont have alot of capital to develop something big and the tourist numbers simply doesnt allow one to survive on that income. We are off the beaten track and too far from an airport to get alot of visitors no matter how good the fishing is. That is why I thought of a kind of time share type arrangement on the Ranchito...kind of a shared development.

Would it make a good spot to make into a small RV / trailer park? How's the road to the place?

There are plenty of divers from Abreojos to Tortugas that may need it.

Time share or temporary fishcamp set up...

Who wants to rent something for a week and share boats and party some.
We can set up a little cantina (in our garage;) ).
Maybe import some talent from Viscano. Or Guerro...

Disclaimer:
The word talent is generic in this context and any connotation connected to it by you is your own dirty mind...
Thank you for playing;)

Shari... maybe a nice photo tour of your campground in town, by the beach, would be a nice introduction for those who have campers, motorhomes, or tents?

I took a real quick look in 2017. I would enjoy seeing a new set and more of the camping area...

How about an OXXO, Starbucks, Subway, shopping mall, KOA campground with dump station? Toss in a nuclear waste dump for the ultimate investment!

Is the house next to Campo Sirena still available to rent. That would be fun...

Let's get a bunch of fisher/diver people together for a week long adventure camp!

Shari, How would the fishing co-op member feel about putting a bunch of tourists on the abalone and lobster grounds? If I got the information correct, the local quotas are pre sold, and there is no way to accommodate sport divers.

Even if everybody plays by the rules, I could see where it could be a consideration to the local fishermen.

I already asked many years ago...
I'm guessing the answer is still no..
Maybe we could dive no take and then buy our lobster etc. from the coop.

Pay to go fishing?
Because it cost money to do it.
K&M Offshore V cost $360/day.

Don't do it if you don't want to.

Go do something to yourself...

The offer is a free night on the way to Juan and Shari's.
Jaun and Shari are my friends and it seemed a good way to meet other fisherman or just good old baja enthusiasts.
But there are plenty of moderately priced motels on the highway. So maybe no one will want to drive the 7 or so miles off the highway to a pristine bayfront house... inside of a bird sancuary...
Who knows?
