responsible drivers would follow the ethical practice of not running the roads when saturated, as saturated unpaved road beds are ruined by wheeled traffic.
Is race promoter going to blade and recompact the road beds after the racers tear up the muddy roads? No, they never have and never will.

Responsible racers/promoters would delay the race and run it only after roads have drained and are not saturated.

I sure hope they bypass the Rancho Las Truchas area too, that could wreak havoc on the trout population.

One of the drones is over Las Truchas, near Mike's Sky Ranch.

Got a link to that drone?

Yes, all the drones and other TV coverage, I posted above... http://score-international.com/ Just scroll down a little and click on the screenshot and the live feed begins. You can't choose just one drone, they flip to different ones to show action.

Here's even a more direct link:

Jensen Button the former F1 world champ Trophy Truck broke down @ mile marker 200, spent 17 hours waiting for ride out.

New raptor didn't fare well either. My homeboy Robbie Gordon finished. After next heavy rain, all traces of race should be gone

I got a text from Curt LeDuc who was the final driver of the Bronco. Ford Corporate instructed him to leave the race at Mile 580 and drive it back to Ensenada for photos rather than keep their factory mechanics on duty any longer. They had gone 2 days without sleep.

The real issue is Ford was not prepared to race a baja 1000. Not enough spares not enough mechanics not enough chase vehicles.
A half baked concept at best.

Compare that with the re3al Bronco racer. Moss brothers have it all figured out with way more track side help that is ever necessary. A moss chased truck even provide trans fluid to the new bronco because the Ford mechanics did not have any. Every chase truck used by Moss' has a qualified mechanic and all kinds of spare parts.
