Amigos, you can order directly from Benchmark, too... They will have it before anyone else. It is only $26.95 + shipping from them.
The overwhelming excitement for this product has amazed everyone, I do believe! We all want to plan our Baja trips or just look at Baja when we can't
be there!

$26.95 + sales tax + Priority Mail shipping = $37.75.
But it will be fastest.

I wonder what the cost is normal shipping?
If you order my book, it is $29.95 and I don't add tax or shipping (if to a U.S. address)... Most addresses take 2-7 weekdays to get it.

I got the business from Amazon also. The last I heard, they said I should receive mine on June 17. I had ordered as soon as I heard about them being
available. Amazon really dropped the ball on this one!

I suspect Amazon is an innocent party in this, and the source of delays is the publisher informing retailers of a delivery date, then the publisher
failing to deliver as planned.

Both the publisher and Amazon shipped books the first week in May. On May 3, someone in Arizona reported on Facebook that they received theirs from
Amazon. I got mine from Benchmark on May 4.
Very simply, it seems to me Amazon did not order enough and ran out before getting more in their regional warehouses. Amazon makes publishers ship to
several locations in the U.S., not just one address. This can easily be why one warehouse runs out while others have not.
Benchmark will be printing more, as the first printing will be running out (far sooner than anticipated). A Baja wall map is also now in the works.

I pre-ordered (and paid) for mine the day DK said they were to be available (2 months ago?). Still nothing as of May 30. No notice from Amazon yet.

Orders for this new book must have just blown up Amazon's anticipations. Amazon was the first book dealer to offer pre-ordering, so they got hit hard
with orders!
The way Amazon works is that the publisher must ship books to the different Amazon distribution centers, rather than to a single one for Amazon to
send out. Amazon tells the publisher how many books to send and to where. Amazon didn't order enough, apparently!
Some people did get their Amazon pre-orders shipped the first week of May when the books were first available... the rest were back-ordered. Benchmark
was next to offer pre-orders and being that they are the publisher, there was no delay. I got mine on May 4 from Benchmark's Phoenix distribution
center. Baja Bound was the third to offer pre-ordering and also with the lowest price ($20). Discover Baja was next, and so on.
Many people either cancelled their Amazon order and re-ordered from another source or just ordered one more from another source, since Amazon is
taking so long to get it figured out.
Baja Bound also ran out, but have ordered more from Benchmark. Benchmark also has another printing underway based on this amazing response.
If you want to see the main map in high detail, on your phone or tablet, get the Avenza digital map download, it is just $19.99 and you have it
instantly... Plus, when in Baja, the gps of your device will spot you on the map.

Sure beats the $600 price for a 10 year old Almanac!
Prices have been:
Baja Bound sold them at $20 to Benchmark and others at $26.95.
I was just happy to such a large, all-color Baja map atlas be less than $50!
