David,
you want to find a photo editor for your computer that allows batch editing
it will transform all images in a selected folder the way you want them
800 dpi, mid quality, sharper, lighter etc etc
you set the parameters and hit start
even if you throw 7,000 pictures at it, it will do the job while you do something else
my preferred tool is Photoshop Elements (less sophisticated and much cheaper than Photoshop)
I think I paid $60
there might be others that do this for free - I don't know
google it and ask for batch processing
I never post a picture without resizing and enhancing
some fuzzy but good pictures might need some extra light, sharpening or color.
I decide that after the batch process

Great Harald...
Thank you.
I must have a few options too, but I am looking for easy plug 'n play and free would be nice. My attention span is much reduced as I get older and I
get side-barred into other projects easily. If I can do this in the next couple of days, I would like to be done with it.
Now, how about some links from Nomads?

Here is one of the photos I ran through a photo-shopper... Does it look so much better to do the same to others?

here is another though - what are you using as a camera?
no matter whether it is your phone or a camera - the set preferences can decide whether you have good pictures or not

Iphone has a pretty good built-in editing feature. Got android? Androids probably come with some free built-in photo editing fxns.
If you own a canon, fujifilm, etc, they all cone with free editing software.
Woke!

It saturated the colors a bit. The sky is bluer and the building has richer yellows. The image wasn't very sharp to begin with so there was little it
could do with texture.
Throwing every image you take on a post is really unfair to the viewer who needs to scroll all through that.

one by one is slave labor

Exactly what is needed, Harald. Thanks for asking the goat... but, no solutions provided. After examining the ones I chose for the webpage, I am
satisfied they do the job intended. If I were to enter a photo contest, then I would photo shop them. If a batch edit program is made available here,
then I will use it next trip!
Last night and this morning, I continued to edit the web page to look the way I think it serves the Baja adventure seeker. The photos may not all be
high grade but they do show the road, the sites, and the people to help me tell the travel story.
The web page link has been emailed to the other people on the trip for any edits or additions they may have before I post the link publicly.
Thank you for all your time viewing and commenting on my photos.

I did look and saw a lot to read, which I was going to do later. Then, when you asked goat to provide a batch editor, it sounded to me like you didn't
have one. So, I didn't go back and look more. Perhaps I misunderstood your words to goat. I will investigate your link, thanks!
So, I did download the app, and could not see how to load more than one photo at a time or edit them all as a batch. I did about 5 or six images and
took a break to do something else. When I came back to continue editing, the app was gone, I could not find a link to the album I began on it, so that
was the end of that!
The improvements were not so grand that it was worth all the reloading, one at a time. Maybe a true batch editor will be posted for a future trip
page? Thank you for trying, Harald. I am satisfied my photos tell the trip story well enough without them being good enough to win any awards.

Best batch command is: cntrl-click (repeat liberally), delete.

Over two months since this trip report... any other new Baja trips?
The trip reports forum here has been one of the big attractions to reading Nomad... I know Covid killed off Mexico travel for many... but that is
mostly over and travel is no longer restricted.
Hoping for new Trip Reports to breathe some new life into Baja Nomad!
