Not Baja, but at the other end of the La Paz/Topolobampo ferry. Don't let those pesky recommendations from friends fool you.

Jawbone Canyon
Unfortunately, the Jawbone Canyon billboard has been removed. I don't know why but it was gone the last time I went by there.

Right you are. You probably pass her on the way to baja from Carson City.
We always stop and pay homage to the lady on our way to Death Valley. She's sort of landmark in our small world, I guess. The eastern sierras come
after her. Just as baja starts at El Rosario.

I have done some military aircraft crash research in that area. It's a great place to explore

And my all-time favorite...
Donna-Moe's Pizza across from the square in Mulege.
A favorite breakfast club for many years...and a handy spot for an old friend to set a spell.
Like Dominoes up north, the pizzas were ready within a half-hour.....uh...or so.

where is this from fellow nomads? |
I know this is a super old reply but I just looked through all these great signs and images. This would be the entrance to "Buzzard's Bar & Grill"
on the lower east cape (page 4). I agree, good food, margaritas and nice clean cabinas...
