Hi Linda, cloud pictures please. As long as you still have a connection. Good thing you're on high ground.

Got home at 3pm and no rain during the drive. Light traffic, got moved to secondary at the boarder and after a quick look I was on my way. San Quitin area around 5am and there had to be over 100 buses on coming. What a nightmare. If I had to pass them instead I would gone over the edge... again. Other than that good trip.
It's been cloudy here since I arrived. Thin clouds as far as I can see in all directions.
A bit of drizzle would be OK.

Lots and lots and lots of rain in Todos Santos today. In fact it is still raining. Good for the farm animals, but BAD for the roads. At least we don't have the wind we had yesterday.

This may become a tropical storm. We're not out of the woods yet.
This from eebmike La Paz:

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A BROAD AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 400 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF MANZANILLO
MEXICO HAVE BECOME BETTER ORGANIZED THIS MORNING. ENVIRONMENTAL
CONDITIONS APPEAR CONDUCIVE FOR A TROPICAL DEPRESSION TO FORM DURING
THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT MOVES NORTH-NORTHWESTWARD AT 10 TO 15
MPH. THIS SYSTEM HAS A HIGH CHANCE...60 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A
TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS ARE
POSSIBLE ALONG PORTIONS OF THE WEST COAST OF MEXICO DURING THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS.

Wow, if she does become a hurricane, with the current models it'll be a direct hit!

We also got a lot of rain and winds to 35 mph (a guess). It probably has the road closed at the estuary. Still have showers but the wind only about 10 mph now. Hope later to get out and check the road.

it looked like rain for awhile here...spit a few drops and so far nothing...a lovely 15 knot breeze from the east and beautiful waves.
