I never met anyone that installed two or more floor mats in a car or truck! Something is not right with the findings!

Yes, they do... better safe than sorry for you folks who put two or more floor mats on the same side.
You might say that to the Highway Patrol Officer and 3 family members now deceased because of Toyota, it wasn't Toyota's fault but they paid the
relatives $ 10,000,000 dollars. Lets face it Dave they could put your engine in upside down and you would think it good. Maybe Ferrari should go back
to drum brakes on their cars because Toyota chooses to cheap out on Crapcomas. |
Did you miss it when I said before that it was the fault of the LEXUS dealer who provided them that loaner... the previous user of that car even
complained that the pedal stuck in the matt... They didn't do a thing... Not Toyota's fault that the loaner car had TWO matts on the drivers side..
nor that the LEXUS dealer didn't take action when the problem was reported by the previous user of that LEXUS loaner car.
Believe whatever you want... and buy a GM car... that's what this reporting is all about on the U.S. news stations.

Go head and buy yer Furd.....was just major recall last week...
I have three Toyotas, Tundra, Prius and Sequioa .
NONE have given me any problems....I also refused the recall notice since I have had NO problems. Other than the crappy mileage in both Tundra and
Sequioa, I have no complaints. As a newbie on this board sure seems like a lot of what they call the 'ButtF--k Nation' back in Chicago on this
board...blame it all on Obama.
Sure, like the idiot before him had nothing to do with the country goin to hell...
I'm sure I'll get a real good 'welcome' from the 'nation' here.....LOL

I also own a Tundra, drove it off the lot new in 07, I did have an issue with the transmission leaking oil a few month after i bought it but Toyota
took care of it at no charge. The Funny part of all this was that I was given a free rental car for my troubles. They(Hurtz) gave me a Ford
Ranger...WTH!
The worst experience I had with Toyota was when the technician locked my keys in the service managers office. Took me 3 days to get my keys back (the
guy has left for the weekend), I had the spare but still. Well it just so happened that I some how managed to tweak my tailgate hinge while helping my
buddy move. I took it back to them and they fixed it for free for making me wait so long for my keys. Called it a good will fix. Needless to say I
will continue to buy Toyota regardless of the press, specialy from Chula Vista Toyota.
Yes the gas sucks-arse! $80 to fill my tank right now....sigh!

Now more recalls, these things need more fixing than our goverment. Toyota should actually, start doing recalls for all the car manufacturers, they
are getting so good at it, the could call it Recall Motors, kinda catchy don't you think. If you have studied history you know about the animosity,
(rightly so) between Korea and Japan. With this parts slow down in Japan, Korea is going after some auto sales, I'll by Korean next time.
