These were taken in 2010 - today the pools are covered with 10 feet of rocks and gravel.

All of Southern California is a desert even though man has transformed it to not look that way in certain areas. With the current drought and water use restrictions that will begin to change and eventually revert back to way it looked originally.

They're on the Loreto --> San Javier Road, right about here:

That was a shame the damage the storms caused. These photos were taken at the site in 2010.
