Actually Nancy, I was referring to the Alternative interpretation from Wikipedia:
A subtler alternative interpretation, included by some, but not all, sources is that the pot is sooty (being placed on a fire), while the kettle is
clean and shiny (being placed on coals only), and hence when the pot accuses the kettle of being black, it is the pot’s own sooty reflection that it
sees: the pot accuses the kettle of a fault that only the pot has, rather than one that they share.

I'm not saying palmetto99 is a good guy for his 5 O'Clock Charlie sniper attacks, and I sure as Hell don't agree with his racist remarks. It sure is
not clear to me that this Pierce guy is Palmetto. I've seen opinions on both sides, but no facts. But I would like to point out to the armchair
attorneys here that the above quote from Doug was what drew first blood. I don't know what the people here who contacted Pierce at Doug's behest said
to him, or about him and his family -- or what threats could have come from them.
This could have been handled much better if Doug had sent him a "Cease and Desist" letter, instead of publishing his personal info and telling people
to contact him. I see issues on both sides of the table.

Well, I stand corrected. I see Doug did send a private letter to Pierce first. Although the letter is a bit shy of a "Cease and Desist" letter. It is
more like a "Keep p*ssing me off and I'll take the battle to you" letter. The letter actually does not even tell him to cease.
