The name “1000 miles from nowhere” strikes me as odd. Most of baja is not “nowhere,” in fact there are lots of people and differing geographies around,… just comes off as odd, suggesting they don't consider baja as “somewhere,”

1000 miles from nowhere implies (to me) that Baja is the place to be, it is 1000 miles FROM nowhere (ie from somewhere in the USA). Baja is somewhere really special.
