Surfboard Rental Cabo Area

Hello Nomad, I’m going to find myself in Cabo San Lucas in a couple days and wanted to see if anybody knew a decent surfboard rental location? I’m not looking for a soft top. I’m looking for a real surfboard. Not a thruster either. Hopefully something with quality and a good outline. Mid or long. Or short of a fish. Any help would be appreciated amigos. 🤙

Costa Azul surf shop, San Jose del Cabo.
That was THE place 15 years ago. I don't know if there are comparable shops now. They had their own boards made in Ensenada, "Olas" boards as I recall. I rented longboards, in excellent condition, for surfing Old Man's and La Roca.

Yup, I remember renting an old longboard within a short beach walking distance of Old Mans, maybe 25 years ago, sitting way outside and catching a fantastic wave. It's in my top 5 waves.

Thank you to the both of you. Yeah I’ve heard of that shop and I even remember reading a story something about getting boards from Ensenada area. If things go as planned, I’ll swing in there later this week. Thank you very much.

Costa Azul is the place. $20/day if you rent for 4 days or more. They have a ton of boards and you can swap out as much as you want.
