I've not crossed in an RV, however I've crossed in a crew cab pickup with 8' bed and would not want to try it in anything larger. Also, be advised Google map routing is not good in town. I've been led down a dead-end, asked to turn the wrong way one a one-way street, and led out into a field. Just use a map and common sense. Parking for an FMM might be problematic.

Slightly off-topic but in April I crossed south next door at San Luis/Rio Colorado. At that time there was a confusing set of detours that made it a challenge in an Isuzu Trooper.

If the traffic situation hasn't been straightened out by now, I would avoid it as well.

Not sure how long ago bk crossed but we did it recently (Oct) in a large truck towing a trailer. No issue for me. Like the other crossings it has recently been updated and traffic routed a different way. Google and Bing maps do not show the change. You now exit the border facility on to Ave International and miss some of the narrow city streets.

ETA, San Luis is still a mess on the US side due to border construction.

Looking at GE for Ave International, the first left is Tercera and the second left is Cuarta. Both look drivable. Second right to Ave B. Then left onto Ave Sexta.
At Local 2 and local 8 intersection straight for 2 and right at an angle for 8 with option to 6
Last time I explored Ave International it was not complete very far.

RV's southbound are not a problem but boats without TIP's are turned away (They arent able to issue them there).

Also, as of about 3 months ago the staff wasnt able to issue the Visitor Visa either.

Like everywhere in Mexico, this may have changed and always be prepared for the unknown. Luckily, San Luis and Mexicali are not too far away if needed.

Safe travels
