Last week bodies found.

Reported March 21, 2025:

Strong operational force for the arrest of several municipal police officers of Ensenada. The arrest of several municipal police officers allegedly connected with the deprivation of several people, caused the siege of the State Prosecutor General's Office in Ensenada on the afternoon of this Thursday, March 20, that the facilities of the State Attorney General's Office were.

At least 5 bodies apparently burned were located in an underground grave located in the Valle Tranquilo area, in San Quintín. The finding was made this morning Saturday by members of the collective mother searchers of San Quintin in the company of authorities. The find area is located on a gap leading to the Sierra.
The remains of at least five people were located on the morning of this Saturday, March 15 by the collective Searching Mothers of San Quintin, supported by the State Search Commission and other authorities.
On the collective's page it is reported that the finding was registered at 10:17 in the morning in the area known as Valle Tranquilo, between San Quintin and the El Rosario delegation.
At this site the searchers found five decomposing bodies exposed and apparently with some degree of calculation. At the scene they found clothes and accessories of the victims which were listed by members of the team so that they can be identified. One of the bodies had 3 Rings, two on the left hand silver color wide band with design, one on thumb finger and one on index finger, and on the right hand ring finger gold thin band ring, and a silver Torsal chain. It was also found: A chain of chunky links, gold. Light color Vans sneakers. Calvin Klein light color underwear. Blue Denim Pants. Royal Blue Polo Shirt. Clothing black could be a short or maybe a vest with beards. Canvas belt black The collective made a call to those who have a missing family member, or recognize any of the clothes or accessories, you can go to the Prosecutor's Office for more information The group thanked the excellent communication and collaboration of the authorities who accompanied them, among these elements of the State Search Commission, elements of the FGE of the Missing Persons Unit and elements of the State Citizen Security Force (FESC).

More than 45 years ago while staying in San Quintin I was warned by a local hotel owner not to stop in Valle Tranquilo and to not think about camping there. I took that advice for all these years on the "better safe than sorry" concept.
