Hello everyone. I'm heading down to ligui in a couple of weeks and was looking for a update on road conditions and any general information on the area.

Thanks πŸ‘

Nothing is smooth sailing on Baja roads. Watch for potholes, questionable situations (checkpoints that aren't military), anything that seems out of the ordinary.

Traveled about all of Hwy. 5, last month [Mex 2-D to Mex 1].
No issues, what-so-ever.
[full trip report in the Trip Reports forum, Parts 6, 7, & 8, but nothing much to say about the highway, just what it takes you to.]

Mex 5 is still there. About same as it (recently) ever was.
