California's Missing Mission Bells - A 100-Year-Old Mystery

I apologize if this topic has been discussed before. I seem to remember David discussing it in the past, but I could not locate that forum topic post.

So this is a story about the missing "mission" bells from Alta California, which actually came from Baja California Sur. Even if you've heard part of this story before, I highly recommend you check out this new 16 minute video from "Sidetrack Adventures" YouTube channel, who is based out of San Diego County;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd3z7RP58p8

is this 100 year old mystery finally solved? David, have you visited the museum at this "mission?"

Enjoy!

Great stuff! Been to the "mission" grounds years ago and I drive past it at least once year. I don't recall hearing the story before, so thanks for sharing. Also, thanks to Doug for the related links.
