Good thing we got heat!
The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.

Shot of our roof. We are 4 miles from the Sea of Cortez (in El Dorado, in San Felipe). Glad I am not out in a boat! This was Sep or Oct, 2001.

Sailing with no crew!!
This is a friend's boat, Magic Moon, sailing out of the harbor during Hurricane Marty. She broke her lines, popped the headsail, and sailed out of
the harbor, over the bar, and wrecked out on Isla Espiritu Santo. There she lies today. This was done without anybody being aboard. Spooky!

Thats an interesting picture the headsail is the size of a torn Toro sail and pushing that big boat.

"Ghost ship"
Magic Moon was also being pushed by Hurricane Marty as this was after the eye had passed and the winds turned around. The broken up Marina de La Paz
outer dock is to the right, just pilings and broken dock. Magic Moon was in two layers of docks and found her way out. Was a very pretty sailboat.
