V. Fox

This PC stuff is so pathetic. OK, so Fox tells it like he sees it and if you read the statement he is less flattering to his own people than he is to the blacks. Come on, it isn't a racial thing, it is simply a fact of life. When was the last time you saw a group of black men standing on a street corner hustling because they WANTED to work, or white men for that matter. I grew up in the East Bay, lived for some time in San Diego, and most recently in Nashville. I have never seen a case where a black or white man would work as hard for as little wages as the Mexicans (legal or illegal) work. That's what peees us off, the rest of us want much more money and for much less effort. So as I see it President Fox is right on the money and has the balls (and the right) to say it. As for Sharpton and Jackson, they are nothing but ethnic ambulance chasers. What I don't understand is everyone falling all over themselves to protect the blacks in America. It is time for all of us to stand on our own two feet and make ourselves accountable for what we have allowed ourselves to become. Otherwise it is just so much mental masturbation.:fire:

As a Black man, I worked my tail off getting a Bachelors Deg. so I wouldn't have to stand in some strawberry field, hunched over for 15 hours in 90 degree heat wearing a long-sleeved hooded flannel. Maybe the reason why these Central Americans are standing outside of Home Depots is because they can't qualify for public assistance or any other welfare program due to their illegal status.

Get over it.

I read the piece, thanks. I don't know about the "poor" since it is a reletive (by some standards I am poor) adjective. I do know about the issues he discusses regarding the current condition of a lot of black people in this country and I agree with much of his observations. Not a racist, just based on first hand experience. I've been re-checking the populations ouside the convienence stores..... just a bunch of Mexicans seeking work. May be something to it. Being PC is for those who like to be taken advantage of.

can't qualify for public assistance! Does it never end? Worked in all the NYC ghettos for 13 years...seen families receiving 5th generation welfare, why work? We just got to get our "benefits"! Seen appliances in dirty ghetto apartments that I, as a 10 year firefighter, could'nt afford to buy for my wife.

GET A JOB!! How about checks based on # of children, they'd pick a number out of a hat...the social workers would only make one visit to check, got so terrorized they would not come back...who cares if Mary Pickens has 22 children, I'll sign the voucher as long as I don't have to go back "there"..

What a bunch of crap, and nobody with the balls to address it...Maybe V. Fox should run for President of the U.S. of A. I'll vote for him, don't see many shining stars out there to choose from......Capt Attila

One of the many unpleasantries

caused by a government that makes war over lies.
Sure makes for some fine taxpayers and draftees though. Keep popping them babies out folks, we got free money.
And it's not just the blacks, I've known plenty of whites using the system to their advantage (laziness). And these guys had plenty more advantages than the majority of blacks. They just didn't want to work! Disgusting!

And some say getting rid of the Mexican labor force in the u.s. won't make a difference?:lol::lol:
