u2u's and the chicken coup group

I find it pretty humorous that so many of the riff raff depend on u2u'ing each other to try and drum up support for their blather.
I guess this means that what I suspected was true, they don't have minds of their own or the huevos to say something without finding a bunch of similar specimens to back them up. Pathetic and very unBaja like.
But hey, what else can be expected from a bunch of gringo tourists who have been to Baja once or twice and consider themselves experts.
No wonder this place is turnng to chit!

I talked to a guy down south the other day who told me that as soon as he logged on he recieved a u2u from DK explaining how persecuted he was. He even included a list of names of people to ignore. Naturally I was at the top of the list. It's good to be first. JR. You were second. HAHAHAHA

David is this true? Do you actually u2u the newbies with warnings against us people that actually live in Baja and know of what we speak, not just from books and a trip or 2 with our parents?
I hope not because if it's true, I am just getting started.:O

Thanks EE

Most of the intelligent people on here are aware of the typical gringo gossip and drama that some on here seem to live for. And they pretend to be of some importance to Baja and actually have some of these "people' believing what they say in spite of the fact they have only vacationed here a few times and have read some books.
This is a fine example of the u.s. pubic education system. Forgive them for they can't count either!

Ah well, it seems as if this board has gone the way of the rest of the gringo enclaves down here. If they couldn't talk behind each others backs, they would probably have nothing to live for.

True P-nche gringos.

1) THIS IS A LIE

2) I do not send out any unsolicited u2u's to newbies or oldies... in fact, about the only time I use u2u is to respond to questions sent to me or requests for stickers.

3) Me No (aka Minnow or Tom Stafford) has a history of telling lies about me on this board and the other places he goes. For example:

a) I steal maps and put my name to other's work. In particular, the Howard Gulick map. Me No claimed my father must have had a copy machine that allowed me to do this.

My responce to this lie: I posted several of the maps I have drawn of the San Felipe- south area from 1967 to today here on Nomad so all could see them and how I improved my mapping from age 9 to adulthood... none even come close to the great maps done by H.E. Gulick which I proudly have a link to on my home page.

b) I stole a story Me No wrote about Papa Fernandez and claimed it as mine...

The truth to this lie is that I NEVER wrote a story about Papa (Gergornio) Fernandez either claiming it was mine or not... I knew of him and probably saw him when I was a child... But we always camped near Alfonsina's during and after that first trip in 1965. I have never had a story to write about him... I posted photos that Desert Rat mailed to me, showing him and Papa in 1994 at the end of Rat's Baja Cha Cha walk from San Felipe. It is in my Contributed Photos section at VivaBaja.com.

I had never an angry thing to say about Me No before he joined up with 'the dark side'... At Gonzaga Bay as a guest of Douglas, my only responce to the anger Douglas had towards Tom there was: that Minnow was a nice guy who gave me a bunch of fish that we in the Viva Baja van cooked up for 4th of July in L.A. Bay 2001. Minnow and his previous wife Alejandra were my guests (and attended) Viva Baja III in Feb. 2002...

I had no issues with him, and for all purposes we were 'amigos'...

That ALL changed after his meeting with people from the other board, which for a year before then had been slandering me and continue to do so. Now, they have a little helper to cloud up the water with his cah cah every so often... Such as this lie that I u2u newbies and warn them about certain Nomads.

I have met over a hundred Baja Nomads... and 99% of them know the person I am... I love Baja and Baja loving people... enjoy helping others find adventure if they seek information. I do not consider myself an expert on all of Baja... that would be impossible, anyway.

Me No has been asked to stop his slander or to prove any of his lies about me... He has done neither.

His anti social behavior and actions since he joined 'the dark side' has already caused him to be banned from Baja Nomad once (as 'Minnow').

I try my best to make Baja exploring a fun and social event... heald four succesful parties and two group caravans to Matomi... and am now helping BajaCactus with his events.

Unfortunately for the majority, a tiny handful of unhappy Internet people don't want the rest of you to find the joy in Baja we have discovered, like it is their private playground, and they try and smear my character with lies like those Me No has once again told here...

PS: JR, next time we are together again, in person, look me hard in the eyes and ask me the question you posted above... You know better amigo.

Thanks David

I expected to hear the truth from you and am assuming I just did! And you know me, I look people in the eyes always.

And I know the fued that you and MeNo have, it's the rest of the clutter that seem to be joining this board that makes it somewhat of a joke.

Not to worry though, I don't take anything I hear on here seriously, me thinks you shouldn't either.

I do wonder why some posters have to go into great detail about how mistreated they are every time they get a chance.
Maybe the nickname of professional victim should stick.

But I will take a pastrami on rye with out the tapatio ,heavy on the mustard.

Hose A, I wonder why one person (in particular) can continue with his anti-personal, untruthful posts and the only outrage comes to me in emails and u2u's to hang in there, don't let the ****** **** bother you, etc. I am not being mistreated, I am being slandered... No proof, no evidence, just an unending harassment. Yes, to his warped mind, I guess this is fun... Hose A, if someone tells the world (www) that CPS has tried to take your kids because of a 'dirty house' and other lies... are you just going to remain silent?

JR irritates a lot of folks (me too sometimes), but at least he contributes a lot here that is good or interesting... In the time he has been a Nomad, he has contributed more than anyone... My numbers are higher for now, only because I became a Nomad sooner than JR, right after Doug started the new forums... Other than Doug, I am the oldest active Nomad here. How much of VALUE has Me No contributed compared to the endless crappolla he spews...?

Advice to Doug!

This thread needs a new home!
Perhaps you need to create a new category for threads like this.
Might I suggest a couple of headings:

MIERDA

or how about...

The Thread Home for Constantly Unhappy, Disgruntled, Contrarian Posters

Just a couple of thoughts...
Have a happy day (for those out there who are capable of having happy days)
