Great showers, no toilet.


Now that it is statring to warm up I thought I'd post a pic of another waterfall in Canyon Cajon.
This one is about a 4 hour hike up canyon, well beyond the "pato de Gallo". That's 4 hours of hiking, not counting rest stops. Walking on the loose rocks of the canyon bottom is real tough on the legs. You need to learn to follow the cow tracks on the benches and pick the right bedrock benches to traverse.
The pool at the bottom of the fall is only a few feet deep, forming a perfect bathtub. The pool below is about 4 feet deep. Not for swimming but a great place to cool off. I built a little camp site not far away so I have another place to escape to this summer.
