SEA OF CORTEZ SPORTFISHING, INC. of San Felipe

I am asking from anyone about this outfit in San Felipe. I plan to take my ten year old and I, on an multi day trip (3 to 5 days out).

Are they good folks running the ship?

Good chow?

Do you recommend the Enchanted Islands area or the Bahia de los Angeles for fishing.

Or who (and where) (in Norte Baja)do you recommend for taking a ten year old out to sea?

Haven't heard of this one but Tony Reyes always gets rave reviews for his trips.

Hey Lou

I'm at home, not in Baja. You have a website or contact number for Tony Reyes ?

We offer trips to the Enchanted Islands. The cost is $250 per day for the boat with a guide. 22ft Montery w volvo penta duo prop and VHF. You would have to make it to Puertecitos. You could camp at Playa Escondida just north of town under a palapa. It is about 1hr south of San Felipe.

My normal trips to the Islands I make on the slack tide but thats because Im usualy swimming around and Im trying to avoid currents. When you are line fishing its a different story.

or PM me if you want to reserve the boat.

Sr. Tony Reyes tours are out of San Felipe and you can find out more info on http://www.sanfelipe.com.mx There are no other guides that know that area better.

I am going to be heading down again on the 12th of July.

There is alot of Grouper and BIG triggerfish at the Islands right now. I saw a triggerfish last week that looked like a bulldog with fins....
