This may be a dumb question, but ....

What does the cape have to do with a jail?

I failed to mention that the old jail is also now a museum and I imagine that's why the cape is there. There was also a nice arrowhead collection and a number of other displays.

Unfortunately I had become severely dehydrated the day we visited the jail... and I darn near passed out right on the jail floor. Consequently my memory of what exactly was there and why was lost to visions of becoming part of the display. :wow:;D Next time I'm there I'll take a look and report back.

Great photos of the old jail site. We have not visited that jail in about 10 years.
