Real Baja Information

These Baja related message boards are a great place to find information, share experiences, make new friends,(and enemies) and a heck of a lot more fun than soap operas.
Until the P-nche gringos and chicken coup groups try and take over that is. **** has appointed himself a leader amongst these groups while pretending to be some sort of authority on Baja although he hasn't spent any more time in Baja than most tourists.
Yet, **** u2u's anyone new on here and warns them about others on the board who see **** **** what he is really all about. As far as *** "followers" go, they aren't smart enough to think for themselves to begin with. The blind leading the blind so to speak.
Now it seems, *** has managed to try and take over the board through a *** *** moderator who is deleting threads that point out facts about ****. And they were posted by others who have briefly been duped by these coop groupers.
I have made many controversial posts on here and most are aware that I do it to make people think. I know of what I speak and the only people who take offense are members of this chicken coop group who are actually the guilty gringos in the first place. I have never named names yet the same members of this group are always the ones to attack my posts saying I am self centered and worse.
Fact is, I have spent the last 3 years taking donations to the underpriveledged in the remote areas of Baja while these coop groupers don't do jack other than come down here and get drunk and act like the P-nche gringo tourists that they are.
And then they compliment each other for their parties at the same gringo enclaves they hang out in every time they vacation here. Baja aficionados they call themselves.:lol::lol:
These are the same people who give gringos a bad reputation and those of us who live here laugh at constantly, you know, the ones who are constantly whining and complaining about the Mexicans, the trash, poor service, overcharged for food, gas, talking louder thinking it will help with their ola pacos and kuanto dinnero's, and spending the entire vacation planning their next drunk.
They are afraid to do anything alone and won't look a Mexican person in the eyes for fear of something bad happening. So when and if they end up moving down here, they build walls and generally don't last long anyway. Too dirty ya know!
Well, I am posting this because it is becoming a very common and unBaja like quality from a very few demented individuals who think their coming to Baja is cool. It isn't!
Coming to Baja and treating the humans as humans is cool. Helping and being helped is cool. Learning from the locals is cool. Realizing when somone is full of chit and nothing more than an armchair authority and in it for fame is cool.
As I say, there aren't that many of them, they all frequent the same enclaves, and they are the reason for the term "ugly american". Unfortunately, they seem to have congregated on this board.
Howz about the rest of us showing these fine local folks down here that we are not all a bunch of blowhard whiners like the chicken coop group that thinks it can control Dougs board!:light: We will be the better for it and make some wonderful friends as well!:light:

JR!!!!!

After 35 years going to Baja, living my dream on the Sea of Cortez, learning and Loving the Mexicano People ,becoming and acting with those Friends I chose to go to one of those "Enclaves"/ where I met some fine People incuding yourself, Jimmy smith, Baja Bernie, Capt Mike, Geo Rock, Keri, David and Daughter, and others.

Now That i have left my beloved SEa Of cortez, the one way I enjoy my old Haunts is on the board.
I tried for awhile to help with people with questions and then was drawn in by all the negative Puckey, all the tiratesx, and Rants, and finally chalked it up to the Election.

Now I am seeing the meanest coming out in some of the folks who don"t like Christains, Liberals, conseratives, Commies Fisherman, Eco- Nuts, Welfare Graduates different Sex orientated Persons, Dogs, Cats, and multidude, of N-zi, Gay, and other like kind!!

I am getting tird of opening this board and seeing my own Rants!!
I am beginning to think that some one should start a Board where all that Crap is not Allowed!

JR i know that you would like to change the People you talk about, but again you are wasting your time, it is like changing Howard Dean from Screaming and Hating, it is Impossible!!

Forget about the Bad Ones and work with the good Ones

Not trying to change them Skeet

Just sort of a warning to those easily duped and letting the cluckers know that their chicken chit antics have been discovered, again.
And, rather than hang out with this type, see the real baja rather than the same old enclave like the coopers are so famous for.

My 10th was finished before breakfast!

And David convinced one of the shallow minded moderators to erase the whole thread that this was referring to. But, it would appear that other's besides MeNo and myself are finding out about the real dk and the chicken coop group.:light:

Yah, please do the world a favor JR, besides helping the Mexicans, do tell everyone about 'the real dk'...

Oh, if anyone wants to be an adult, and find out for themselves (instead of big daddy JR doing it for them), all you have to do is go to http://vivabaja.com and look at where I have been from the photos I took, or better yet read the short biography 'about David K' in one of the first links on my web site.

Shame on you JR for this and not ending this feud, which YOU keep rehashing. I have been to your home, brought you clothes, a box of canned insect repellant, encouraged others to help you, I came with Doug and a van full of donations too. You have a lot of good in you, but it is overshadowed by your need for power and to tarnish others, here.

Can you ever see a day when you stop the labeling and name calling?

I know it for a fact Bill.

I run into a LOT of people from this board that have verified it and Doug is also aware and doing something about it. The good part is that they got themselves caught by their actions, not by me or MeNo saying anything.:saint:

I think we're going to have to accept each other for what we are, or at least what we think each other are. I accept Jr. what I believe he is; nobody knows for sure but him. I'll take the good he has to offer, and I'll be entertained by the rest.

Hey, how'd you know my name was Paco? I may be American, and I'm certainly ugly and tonight I'll probably be a bit buzzed, Jesus, it's like we've met..... I am just happy to see a real leader step forward, kind of like our gubernator.
Excellent stuff.

A little bitterness and sniveling on here. Why? Seems a little un-Baja-like to me. Best kiss and make up...return to things Baja.

as a newbie I'm finding it hard to come to this board and find anyhthing useful... It's here, it's loaded actually, but the soap opera gets in the way! almost every time.. I don't have enough time to sort through the nonsense.
Anybody got any ideas, another forum/board??

surf, windsurf, kitesail, fish, drink, explore, eat, report...shouldn't that be about it!! Tomas Tierra

Hang in there Tomas

I have learned alot from this message board. Once you get familiar with the posters here you will decide who holds the kind of knowledge you want or need. Over the past 2 years I have learned alot, and more importantly made some good friends. I look forward to meeting even more of the Nomads. The "soap opera's" seem to come and go. For some reason the last few months have had more drama than usual. :?::yes:

Hey Tomas

maybe you can get Doug to go back to the beginning and delete all the posts that are bothering you.

After all, there have been other things posted since the 3rd, where you had to go back to to dig this one up.

But nice you could stop in long enough to complain!
