What constitutes an interesting post?

JR, I can't answer your Q. Only here I can answer as an Anon.
Because I learned, only as an Anon you are somehow protected from personal attacks.

In general, you are damn right w/ your comment.
It is a lot about attacking others and drinking, it is little Baja related.
But, amigo, one thing I gotto tell you.
You are not much better than others.
i.e. > Why I pray on David K!
Tell him what you wanna say by u2u and keep it out of the board.
Don't put yourself on the same level than those p-gringos!

Well, for some gues there is also the need for to tell the www(World-Wide-Web) what was for dinner last night. Including picture of two gals sharing a little cake. BORING Ego-Trip! Yes we had such posts!(Pompano)

This forum basicly is devided into three categories.

A) those who are interested in Baja related stories.
that includes all newbies as they have questions of course.
Under A) it is of course You and DavidK. (And others!!!)
Interested in keeping this forum focused on Baja.

B) those who are retired and bored w/ their lifes.
they don't have anything else to do but sitting all day long
@ the computer, a drink on hand @ 9 a.m, looking out for
anything they can make a senseless comment on.

C) those who are, determined by their genes, looking out for
any guy they can attack.
(I listed them in a diff. post)

Summary: This forum sucks as long as the Admin is not willing to do a fair and balanced job by deleting ALL(!) personal attacks.
That is to my understanding the main reason, why this board is not a good Baja Board anymore

What do you think?

Bull..... Mr. Leech.
I do NOT want to become a Nomad.
See the reasons I posted.
If this forum is operated by failr and balenced Admins. well, I might re-consider.
But now?
Better not.

And by the way, if you don't see the points which are important for running a good forum,
then "good night" , Mr. 'C - Category'

I think it's a great Baja board.

And I don't think anybody is better than anybody else on this board as long as they are honest.
There are some who are a lot more full of chit than this most recent battle between DK and me but they usually don't have the huevos or intelligence to continue their banter. The humans stand up for what they believe in.
Although I don't agree with what I percieve David to be about, I don't hate him or wish anything bad on him. He just needs to straighten up:lol: Just like me.
Everyone is different. Personally, I like to bring things pertaining to my interests, Baja in this case, out in the open to hear others opinions. I don't expect everyone to agree and I have probably been attacked more than anyone on here because I think a little "outside the lines".
I expected that from those who take what I say personally. I didn't realize it would apply to so many on here but heck, no wonder I see their actions enough down here to want to comment on it.:light:
On the other hand, if it bothers some people that aren't intelligent enough to not open the posts, who cares?

To me, the only thing bad about this board is that some people are able to post anonymously. It shows that they don't have a spine and aren't comfortable enough with their own convictions to stand up for them.
And besides that, their accents usually show through jejejejejejeje

and what my dear friend are the reasons and category you place yourself in again?

You failed to add the most important category:

D) those who have little intellect and feel inadequate posting as a person. i.e. you:lol:

So when the banter slows or stops we can count on the Margies(i.e. you) to entertain us.

You will also be lumped in with all the other cowards posting anon. Do you all think exactly alike? Sort of a collective? DO you enjoy be replied to mistakenly even if the Anon is someone else? Wow, that's pretty shallow. Maybe a Barney site would be more attractive to people who don't care to be Nomads. I would bet you could follow and tolerate them.
.............................................or maybe not!

I will only attack covert posts like yours. The others I respond to.

See, I listen! ;D

MHOP about "anons"

The only problem I have is that I can't sort out who is who, I like to know who is talking. So many "anons" is just too confusing for my little brain! Very few use our real names on the internet when we post, most here I think have "stage" names perhaps to give an insite to our interests, not to hide from anything....that would be silly, who cares? Having said that I think I will go back to being "TravelPearl" so no one knows who I really am. :o

Tora ! Tora ! Tora !

It's no secret to anyone posting here that I have differing opinions from many others depending on the subject. Those others would include JR, Bruce, Shark, etc, etc, etc, but in most cases we manage to discuss those differences on an adult basis without the discussion degenerating too far into personal vitriol. Once in awhile, we get a little carried away, but for the most part we simply disagree and go about our business.

One subject where I am in complete agreement with those mentioned, is this anonymous business. Since Anon could be any of a dozen (or hundred) people, it seems a lttle cowardly to hide behind that moniker. Although most "handles" are an alias, it at least is a constant and you know you are trading info and opinions with the same person each time. I say do away with it.

Well, cowards are asking,
as cowards don't like the thruth.
Truth is, only as an Anon you can fight personal attacks!

Summary: Get rid of the Anons (we don't like the truth anyway)

Only if you don't have backbone! I do it all the time. Who gives a chit about personal attacks if you believe in what you say.
And again for the dense, it is extremely hard to make a personal attack against some anonymous piece of dung like yourself if you don't know who it is. See there brick head, I don't even know who I said that to.

Yes Lera, stupid, boring threads are contagious.

Just look at what all these so called "serious Nomads with backbone etc" did out of a good suggestion.

Out of 14 replies from Nomads- not counting mine of course - there are only yours and two others - MrBillM and Debra's - somehow helpfull.
That's what this forum is all about > attacking!!!

"Lighten up Anon/Frances":lol::lol:

Chances are no one is going to cure cancer by reading, or contributing to this or any other internet chat board. If you feel strongly enough to make a post like yours chances are, you are a nomad.:P

Debra, no offence, but I like Travel pearl better.
