David.....Doug
When I saw that David had deleted his posts, asked others to do the same and asked Doug to remove the entire post, I started to write a post about who
seems to be trying to control this board. I started to delete it but........nope; I will not be silenced !!
Maybe I would enjoy more Pompano; less BS, but I'm not about to tell people to delete their posts.
David, you seem to be a nice guy and you are very helpful at times but, you take yourself waaaay too seriously (in my opinion). Lighten up and enjoy
life !!
Maybe Doug will restore the entire post instead ?
Maybe he will just ignor the request because he has a life.
Give the man a break !
The fact that he enables our communications by maintaining this board is reason enough to appreciate the man.
Anyone who wants a more strict format could always go to Fred's board. No-one is forced to sit in front of their computer and read these posts; just
like TV.
Diversity is one of the wonders of life. This board exhibits a diversity of Nomad backgrounds, locations and opinions. I think it's a great
alternative to Fred's board. Wouldn't life be boring if we/it were all the same ?
Thanks to all you Nomads who contribute and thanks especially again and again to Doug !!

It the crap that spoils this board, ******************.
Fred's doesn't allow discussion between posters or friendship making. I wouldn't want to see that here... This site doesn't need the drama and name
calling to make it fun to read.
Until last week when JR privately whined to Doug, there was moderation of the personal attacks and profanity. It seems 'ol JR got to Doug and demanded
that insults and slander should be left up (?!).
Too bad that there can't be a place where people can discuss Baja (without putting others down) that may have some unique Baja knowledge or the
generosity to share it with others!
Baja Nomad should be renamed Baja Gladiator if this is going to be mostly a board where we constantly are fighting.
I really don't think the nearly 2,000 Nomads registered here for that, do you?

Yep same ol Bs from the same person
"Until last week when JR privately whined to Doug, there was moderation of the personal attacks and profanity. It seems 'ol JR got to Doug and

Not true again DK. The one and only time I have discussed anything re: Dougs board was when I reported a threat of physical violence. And we didn't
discuss anything. I hit the report button.
I don't need to go whine to Doug to get my mistakes removed. I take full credit for my actions and words and sure as hell don't go whining for
someone else to bail me out through U2Uing or whatever.
This kind of action is so typical of you coop groupers who are constantly deleting your own posts. I can't think of one time I have deleted a
conversation or post besides when some jerk screwed up a post for help for Aaron.
And I was pretty much done with our argueing for the time being. Friends of yours are seeing the true about what a self centered blowhard you are.
Obviously because they are a little more honest than you. Humans!
Keep up the good work David! The truth seems to be rearing it's ugly head eh? I have
actually met quite a few nice people who you have tried to turn against me with your BS. Thanks.

David, why don't you start your own board? Then, you can have it just as you want it. But wait, you tried that once didn't you?

No friendshopmaking ?
Sounds like a commy plot to me !
I like making friends.
I have come to a personal conclusion that it's not the judgemental or argumentative posts that put a sour note on the board; it's all the wasted time
spend on overly-defensive, emotional comebacks.
If Fred's board is available to those that don't want to make friends, why not excercise your freedom of choice ? Oh, you obviously have, and decided
to stay and argue ?

Thanks for responding Doug. I love this board !
I have learned and changed and am now more open and accepting than when I first joined. I love the interaction with the many faces of Nomad.
Can we get a group hug ?

Is JR the man ? Do you mean that you are just a boy ? Or is DK just a boy ?
You have probably never seen his type before as he doesn't really exist except in cyberspace to most people (and boys)!
Be nice Sharks or I won't share any crabs from Netarts or Nehalem bays !
I just bought a 14' Lund to chase them in.

If my ego was dependant
on a Baja message board, I would probably be posting anonymously!
Note: This post was in refference to another idiotic anon post that mysteriously has been deleted. Typical of a certain kind.

either. See em in Mulege at the mercado.

Yep, always amazed to see Washington apples at the "yellow store" and Sauls in Mulege.
Crabapples ? Try this one sometime;
Finely dice an apple or two
add about a teaspoon of lemon juice for each apple.
mix in about the same amount of crab
add a little finely diced red bell pepper for looks and tang
maybe a little cilantro and pepper
then add a dash of hot sauce and dig in !
The sweet, sour and spicy will have your mouth guessing past the first few bites !
I better go check my crab rings !
