Loreto report

Was in Loreto for 5 days and got back today,
Sailfish are thick and ready bait takers. Marlin are abundant but shy biters and dorado are very, very rare. No, none, nada seaweed in the water. Bait is 20 bucjs for 15 pieces, mackerals being the best option.

Fished one day for 2 sails released and one dorado kept. Back in the barn at noon.

Next day dove a couple of tanks to 110 feet at the Wall at Coronado. The Wall is making a nice recovery from the hurricane and years of pillage. I was impressed by the diversity of fish, shellfish and invertebrates making a comeback. Nice to see. Visibility was poor due to a lingering algae bloom, maybe 30 feet max. Water was 82 ish.

Albies are playing offshore of Ensenada. Time to fish Northern Baja waters for a while. Post when we get back Monday.
