question for Doug
Doug Don't you think that in this instance it would have been better to leave the post By Me no so other Nomads could draw there own conclusion. by
removing the post you don't remove the threat you only hide it. and if indeed a threat was made from one Nomad to an other publicly on the forum do
you think you are some how protecting us by having it removed? it looks to me like the only favor you did was to Me no.
Please If anyone ever makes a threat against me on this or any other forum leave it the heck alone so I can see it and deal with it in my own way. and
also other Nomads can see where the threats are coming from also. sometimes just because you don't like what you read it is better to leave things
alone. and let the people that it is directed at do what they think is right. Me no put his name on the post so if he made threats that were illegal
then he intended to suffer the consequences.
I think that if it was a Anon posting a threat then it should be edited.
just my opinion.

Bruce, this is not a forum for one or two people to use to harass others, it is for Baja info. and discussion. If Doug leaves up the slander than that
changes the purpose of Baja Nomad and will chase people away. Why should Doug pay for a place with over 1,000 members just so a couple of people can
use it to air their personal gripes? Me No may be a reader of Karl Marx or Lenin, because he seems to believe when a lie is told often enough, it will
become the 'truth'. I invited Me No and many occaisions to provide an ounce of evidence to back up his lies... nada. Me No used to be Minnow and he
was banned from here because of his actions before. You all may have seen the post link here to Baja.net that showed bajablackie telling minnow how to
evade Doug's actions to circumvent his being banned. Pretty low that a host of another Baja board gives instructions to help ruin this one, all the
while he is posting here too.
Fred's board is the oldest Baja board and it has survived because it is heavily moderated to keep the personal negatives off... The exchange of
stories between friends is what is nice about this site, in addition to the info.
I have always wanted this site to be highly successful and it has been, but the personal negative stuff is harmfull and very non-Baja-like.

all I'm saying is if they would have left it up a little while Me no would hang himself but Doug protected him by removing his post to fast.
David I think it would have been better for you if it would have stayed up for a day so every one can see what you are having to put up with. and then
if there are indeed personal thetas against any one on the nomad forum they should be baned from posting ever again. but even then I would leave the
evidence for every one to see.

I think the Ostrege strategy of sticking your head in the sand doesn't work. If there is a child molester in my neighborhood I want to know about it,

I know I cant wen a disagreement with Yankee because I cant call people names and lie and threaten people.It is not my nature. I do this because I
know some day I am going to meet Yankee and I will probably like him, we have more in common than he knows.
but I will admit that I am really enjoying this debate even though I know I cant wen against some one Like Yankee it is kind of fun to watch him go
