Year-round streams?
I was thinking about what someone told about the river in Mulege. They said it was the ONLY river navigable from the sea. Is this true? I am aware of
the hundreds of seasonal streams. But how many streams or rios are large enough to run year-round with substantial water flow. I am wondering about
the streams that run westward in the mountains near La Purisma. Here is a http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=25.749893,-112.091274&spn...sat pics that sure look like water leading up from the sea.
Are there any fish that spawn in the streams?

Not true at all. There are several year round fishable trout streams in the Bcn area that I have discovered. I'd be absolutely insane to reveal
there whereabouts on the internet but I'd be happy to take anyone fishing there.

Navigable and fishable are often very different. Also "from the sea".
I'm curious also.

Fresh water fishing is a large part of the "undiscovered" part of baja for me..... On a ratio of ten to one I probably fish sweet water on a ratio
of ten to two. In other words I'm fishing fresh water %80 of the time.

water flows in and water flows out that is all I Know. it sounds like a river it looks like a river and it smells like a septic tank.
also it the ONLY river navigable from the sea in Baja ca. that I know of. although it is just barely navigable and only for 2 km.
