My Dearest Doug Means?.
I am demanding that the Yankeeirishman logo and identity be dropped from the BajaNomads Forums. I resign my position as a Nomad. I don?t go for
misleading Websites where the moderator (you) performs circus acts for his buddies here. Go against one of your close friends or family that may post
here, and you alter, edit, or delete the post! You do this without the knowledge of the Nomads here. Your rules never implied that you be altering
threads to your likings! That?s dishonesty to the max.
I have no intentions of participation in a forum, that I just discovered to be edited by a moderator that has made this place in his image only. I
don?t have a clue what is an original or edited post/response post because middling! The moderator (Doug Means) has consistently done altering,
unannounced editing, unannounced deletion of many posts that are debating, auguring, questioning?. his close circle of friends/family here at these
forums such as Friendsfamilyofrmac. So we get our posts edited, deleted or banned as I was for refusal to be hushed on the Friendsfamilyofrmac
posting. I made no negative remarks?no threats, no real name calling?(standard responses of a Nomad) to this Friendsfamilyofrmac .
These posts (below links) are missing 1/3 of the Nomads responses and there is edited content (not done by the original poster). If you contest the
facts of what I am saying, then repost them as unedited. There is a great deal of other posts that I have heard, that have been altered. Many other
Nomads have stated (the in the past) the same claim. It?s true. It did happen. It does happen, Doug Means and friends do their backroom altering
tactics to us. And most Nomads here don?t know it, some will denial it, and some like jrbaja will try to expose it.

In the last few months, this forum has taking a downward spiral. The postings are really not about Baja much, just a lot of in house fighting and
debates about nothings! Sure?a few here will respond that it?s fine as ever. Bullchit. It?s low?really low. Compare to last year?s postings?anyone
will agree that this year is hitting bottom. DavidK hasn?t even posted here much in the last month. I see few here has already resigned in the last 48
hours.
Any reader here can look into the post archives to see that it?s a fact only 27 Nomads do 90% of the posts. Most other 1750 Newbie(s) nomads simply do
not come back here after a few visits. The history of the archives is living proof of this fact. The ?hits? you are counting looks like it?s from
mostly the 27 of us, not hundreds of other ?drop ins?. The bulk of the postings are now in house debates and fighting. Where?s the bulk of the Baja
conversations anymore? I wonder if your sponsors here realize that? Hell?I am sure that your sponsors will get a c/c of this letter. That?s
right?brush this off as another peeed of Nomad that will simply go away. Think again.
Oh, in case you delete this post before a handful of Nomads to see?..I plan to plaster this letter latter, to all the emails gathered up from your
members list (they were copied already this a.m.), and I?ll hit the u2u?s with a new i.p. Address! And check out the other Baja boards too?you?ll see
this post there as well as craigslist.org <rant and raves> link. This is an open forum for all, right? I?ll make sure that a lot of the rank
links find their way into your damn forum?for your editing pleasures. The Sponsors of your websites will get this too, within a day or so. Try editing

Direct personal insults of another user here has always been unwelcome. Fact is that is EXACTLY what you did today.
Stop the drama, get over it and move on. Because of this lashing out behavior, I'm temporarily removing your privs here so you have a chance to cool
off.
Any further attacks/insults made at me and I'll choose to limit your abilities here permanently.

I told you I thought you had it all wrong as far as the deletions but hey, if you and druby want to turn your departures into a novela, nobody really
cares that much. Especially in drubys case! Neither of you have been here for very long to begin with but you both think people are leaving this

Yankee... I believe you have it wrong. If you let the few negatives in life steer your boat then you will have an unpleasant life- trip. Many enjoy
your posts and Campo Ocotillo project reports.
I have been posting a lot this month, just not on the General board... go to the Trip Reports forum on Nomad.
Take a vacation from Nomad, but do not make it a permanent action.

Two reasons why many good folks are leaving.
And it is not only those who are saying good bye.
Other frequent users are not posting anymore without saying bye-bye.
It is about 20 folks max sitting infront of the computer all day long and typing bull....

i.e. gringette. Never contributed a Baja related word.
But posted personal attacks.

Fairly good posts are edited to a point where they make no
sense anymore.
#2: Doug Means is a marooon not capable to lead this board.

Doug is not thin skinned, and takes criticism well... He also does not delete enough and has let people post way too much anti personal stuff and
slander/attacks... because of his high regard of 'freedom of speech'. Unfortunately, those few negative people have abused Doug's kindness far too
much, and THAT is why many are not posting here now... not the deletions that have been made. Abe Lincoln: You can't please all the people all the

I don't know any reason for you leaving, but if I see posts like the one from baja Steve or Anonymous, I do understand you very well.
If I read all these personal attacks others so called Super or Elite Nomads are launching here everyday, I feel that I don't want to become a
registered Nomad as my time on this board is already running out.

The moment Doug Means returnes to a fair and balanced way to edit or delete posts, I might change my mind.
First and foremost he needs to delete any personal attacks - whats-o-ever.
As long as he is not willing to do that, he remains a chicken host, supporting the bad guys and punishing the good.

This is reminiscent of the demise of the Amigos board. If you all want to argue with each other, why don't you do it on u2u? I realize that people
have different opinions, but why not just post them, and let others respond, if any response is necessary? But why argue about who has posted the
most, or who has deleted what? If the purpose of this board is to promote discussion/ information about Baja, why bother with personal attacks on
those you don't agree with?
