TAKE THIS SIMPLE QUIZ...

to see if you're a classic Bitter Baja A-Hole:

Do you live with an irrational fear of ?the world? discovering ?your? secrets? Does that fear keep you up at nite?

Can you name THREE reasons why Baja is better now than it was 20 years ago? (internet access excluded)

Can you name THREE reasons why ANYTHING is better now than it was 20 years ago? (Viagra excluded)

Do you believe ?these kids today? have ?no respect? for ?the Baja you know and love??

Do you speak ?way better Spanish? than most of these disrespectful tourists?

In your opinion, can anyone between the ages of 18 ? 22 have a fun, productive and respectful weekend in Baja?

In the past year, have you said, ?things are just getting worse and worse? more than 25 times?

Does the site of a Hummer in Baja with CA plates up your blood pressure? If it were towing a shiny new Boston Whaler, would you possibly have a small heart attack?

Do you grumble a lot? How about scowl?

Have you EVER spoken ill of a gringo, in front of that gringo, in Spanish, to one of you local ?buddies??

Do you believe The Seven Sisters are a secret? Do you believe that secret should be protected by ANY MEANS NECESSARY?

Do you brag of knowing ?secret? taco and torta stands where ?most gringos would be afraid to eat??

How many times in the past year have you said, ?That?s because those people are idiot Americans who don?t understand Baja? or a relative variation of that thought?

Do you believe any group mandating more than two cars is inevitably ?full of jerks??

Were you elected president of Baja, would you ban all portable stereos?

Do you secretly dream of blowing up Bajamar and any like community?

Do you brag often of knowing the Baja ?most people don?t take the time to get to know??

Do you spend more than 2 hours a day pondering the inevitable destruction of your Baja at the hands of rich Americans?

Can you remember the last time you felt optimistic? Joyous? Lucky?

BE HONEST! And grade yourselves?you know what the right answers are.

Now that is a refreshing approach. You must be disgusted (or amused) at how ridiculous some people are around here. Men who should have long ago grown out of the behavior they display here. Still playing power trips, still trolling on the internet.

Too many questions for me to answer. I will answer the first one only. The road is better. Water is better and you can buy more things in Loreto than you could in the old days. Also, my spanish is better----better than some and worse than others. Loreto and Baja Sur is still better than up here in the states. Less people, less traffic and a lot less stress. I am 63 and also would love to be 32 again---but 32 and thinking like a 63 year old. That way both of my heads would do my thinking for me. Have a great day.

Very Good Questions!

It would be great to see "Your answers"!!

I am with Sharky1 The water is more drinkable, the Gas is more Expensive, The ladies wear nicer Clothing, the fishing is still great !!!{A few miles further out} !!The mexicano is trying harder to be like the americano.
Both are just as rude as they were 35 years ago, if they were Rude?
The best way to solve your problem if you do not like the People Mexicano/americano, just find a place where there are no People!!

Loreto is a Great Place to Live.!!

Bigzaggin

You lost all your credibility with the gals on this forum when you talked about "date rape". Do you think there's any GOOD kind of rape? Why don't you just go grope yourself rather than make up silly assed questionairs?

do yourself a massive favor and go read the post you're referencing again (lest I cut n'paste it here). If you still believe that date rape line is anything short of extreme sarcasm, well, you're a marooon. As if I'm like, pro-rape? Duh. Irony. You should check it out.

And as if street cred on the BN board is my life's objective. As my grandpa used to say, if I gave any less of a crap, someone would OWE me a crap. I was just trying to make people think a little about the counter-productivity of Baja bitterness...and, like many posters here, wish we'd spend a little more time celebrating this site's namesake than bickering mindlessly with strangers (not absolving myself of guilt there).

ANYWAYS! How'd you do on the quiz?!

Well...

knowing little of Baja or the internet, Grandpa Leon would be totally lost at Baja Nomad. Also, his being dead could make posting a real b-tch. Lucky for you, that type of crassness runs deep in the genes...I can't recall the last time I was accused of being "classy," but I know I'd get hyper-defensive should it happen. Also, I wear white after Labor Day (the HORROR!!!!!!!!!!)

Anyways, I think there's a rerun of Everybody Loves Raymond you're missing.

JR, you got that right.
"We" want Baja related stories, pics, tripreporst, questions and answers about Baja, and all the other 'sh**it' which is Baja related.
"We" don't want your sh**it about pi**che gringos, about your hate if somebody doesn't live in Baja.
"We" don't need your attacks.
Nor do we need any bull... about what Mexicans want from you, or you want to teach the Mexicans unless you can proof what you are doing in San Bartolo..
Report what you are doing if it is a succes and Mexicans are having a benefit from what you are doing.
But don't claim any "I am the only one who can teach the Mexicans", unless you can proof it.
So far we have seen only lots of hot air - no proof at all.
But we have seen lots of bull... and attacks.
Only good for to destroy the board.

JR, get lost, unless you can proof any good-doing in Baja.

#111

You need to actually read what is posted before you respond. Oh, yeah, Most attacks on JR are deleted before you have a chance to read them.
You and big zig are exactly the kind of posters you claim to dislike, or are bad for this board. What a joke. Maybe if you just stick around for a little while and read, you might one day figure it out. Somehow, I doubt it.
