I like most any white wine. Reds pucker my mouth too much but will drink them on occasion. Two Buck Chuck is good wine and cheap. There are three reasons to drink anything. For the occasion, the taste and/or the affect.

I would strongly sugggest that some of you "cost Effective Wine Drinkers" investin a Case of Texas llano Red or Blush , If interested I will forward theweb site.

As I was at one time in my life a Calif Wine Grape Inspector at theGallo Winery in Livingston I have always had a taste for the Grape. i went to a wine tasteing in Lubbock Texas{ the most conservative city in the USA and was surpised at the good wine for about $10 to $20 dollars.

Inspector General

Gosh, Skeet, at one time or another you must have been an inspector or investigator for every government agency in existence. Wow, what a life.

I thought that I heard or read last week that some city in Idaho was considered the most conservative. Since I just caught it in passing, I didn't pay much attention.

Addendum to above:

Not Idaho, but Utah (Provo). Detroit was rated the most Liberal.

..................The rankings by the Bay Area Center for Voting Research were based on the 2004 election results for 237 cities with at least 100,000 residents in the last U.S. census.

Researcher Lindsay Hogan said the center looked at how many votes were cast for each candidate, and classified each candidate as liberal or conservative and added up the totals.

Hogan said the biggest indicator of political leanings was race. Detroit, ranked as the most liberal city, is about 80 percent black, while Provo is almost 90 percent white.........................

Mr. Bill;
In my first yeqar ar Fresno State I was a Cantalope Inspector for Fresno county, later in 1971 I was a tomato Inspector for the State, Then in 1981 was a Wine grape inspector for the State, , all Seasonal Jobs of about 3 months.

There was a Large Scam on the Public when Zinfindal Started getting Popluar, One winery was using another Juice , passing it off as Zinindal for $600 a Ton when they had paid only $200, it was one of those mafia Deals, Wine, Garlic,Tomato all controlled.

One of these days maybe I will tell the story about Investigation of the Location of all the Cathouses in and around the Lemore Navy Base. Interesting Work for about 6 weeks.
