I've been missing how it is in Baja Sur in September...
the heat (but not the mosquitos) and all these things -

how green it is:

the smell of mangoes ripening in the sun,
overripe mangos rotting on the ground and filling the air with a heady, almost alcoholic air:

Nice Natalie

Sweet, sweet eye candy. Thank you Natalie Ann!

Last time I saw our plumeria, it was bald. I hope it grew some feathers since April.

I miss the intense fauna also.

Me too, Natalie, soon, soon, very, very soon, we will be back. You know the best is late October, all the fan and fana without the heat.

Judy - Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.

Sara - My very first trip to Baja Sur (all of Baja, for that matter) was in October/November of long long ago. It's a very special anniversary for me. Day of the Dead/Dia de las Angelitas.

I am so looking forward to hugs and cerveza with the two of you!

***and Sara, in case I miss you in private mail

Gracias Lili and Sharky.
And what a beautiful photo from you, Sharky. Your piece of heaven in Mulege looks so lovely and inviting. How do you ever leave it? Makes me want to climb right into the picture!

Great images, Natalie Ann. I've always enjoyed the personal quality of your shots. Your grove of trees. Your hillside stream. Your yellow house. It's the baja you know and love.

Thanks and keep sharing.
