Want to camp South of San Felipe?

Any one want to camp for a couple of weeks in San Felipe? Sure would be nice to have somebody along. Since I am alone does any of the Nomads have a place where I can set up my tent that offers a little security? Or is there a camping area South of San Felipe that does? let me know and thanks for any help you can give. Plan to leave a week from this Thursday.

There are about 20 campgrounds south of San Felipe - all offer an adequate degree of security, but, of course, take the usual precautions and use common sense.

As for a true campground instead of gringo vacation home sites, check out: http://vivabaja.com/nm

I have been camping there since 1966... although I usually camp on Shell Island since '78, there are times when it is really an island, so we camp at Nuevo Mazatlan then.
