No, maybe if I put it like this it would be more clear? : it's a NEW BOOK by Mike Humfreville... But, Mike's book has been in the works for several years... ever since their home burned to the ground and took all their photos with it... Mike started putting his Baja memories into words.

As I understand it, this NEW book covers their two summers about 10 years apart: Living on the shore of Bahia de los Angeles in the early 70's (where Camp Gecko is now) and again with their sons, north of La Gringa (Las Cuevitas) in the early 80's.

VERY NERVIOUSO

Ted is a great host. It's still a difficult thing for me to do any form of large scale public communication and self promotion.

I very much want to see my writing have influence, but I want it to be based on its credibility and validity rather than what I say about it.

I value Ted's show as a way of increasing the communication we share of Baja. And I very much appreciate his having me on. I was just very nervous.

Just imagine.

Thanks Ted and thanks to Jennifer Redmond and Diane and all the folks at Sunbelt Publications for your support in getting my first work out there.

Mike

Mike, you did great!

Sharing your love of Baja is a good thing and not self promotion!!

I look forward to having you autograph my copy and having it among my other great books about Baja, proudly in my Baja library...

I won't be able to see you at Discover Baja on Dec. 2, but Elizabeth and I will be in L.A. Bay for New Years... So, I would be honored if you would autograph my copy then!

Thank you!
