family travel in Loreto

We are headed to Loreto for the first time late Dec and looking for places to stay with kitchenettes or a least small fridges. Needs to be kid friendly near the beach - any suggestions would be welcome. thanks.

There is always Iguana Inn but only one room has a small kitchenette if I remember correctly....Am I right, Julie? A short walk to the beach.

I would recommend Coco Cabanas....pool, kitchenettes, near the beach. Reasonably priced

Or Villas de Loreto....on the beach, some with kitchenettes, pool, nice restaurant...non smoking environment. They even have villas for rent as opposed to a hotel room. Not cheap but a beautiful place.

Suerte

The Iguana Inn bungalows all have kitchettes. We have just added a 4th bungalow with a private patio and breakfast bar.

Don't know how old your kids are, but over the years we have seen lots of kids staying at Villas de Loreto. We have also stayed there with our grandson (and his parents to take care of stuff like diapers, fussing, etc.) when he was 4 months and then a couple of weeks ago when he was 16 months and very mobile. Everyone went out of their way to accomodate him. The restaurant will take special requests...just ask Uvaldo in the morning.
You can see what the rooms are like if you go to their website - www.villasdeloreto.com. There are pictures of each of the rooms.

Here's another one...

I have two small children and the Villas de Loreto has more room and is best set up for children to run around and play. It is also on the beach which also occupies them.
