Well, I did switch to Pacific time (from Mountain) and the posts are still off from real time, which is now 4:43pm and it says 5:43 for my post time... any clues here?

I saw that again today David and am faking it as being somewhere else so the time is correct.

Lou, I did! Here is what I posted above:

"Well, I did switch to Pacific time (from Mountain) and the posts are still off from real time, which is now 4:43pm and it says 5:43 for my post time"

ie. I changed the time from Mountain (Pacific Daylight Savings) to Pacific (Standard)... and it is posting a time one hour later than it really is... 5:01 now.

...yes, did the Alaskan time switch, also...

BTW...you don't have to change time setting in your GPS units, as they change automatically when you next acquire a sat-fix...

According to my clock...anytime is \'BAJA TIME\' & as Jimmy Buffett says,

I have a couple of Garmin - a 12XL and a 12 and I have to set the offset from Zulu when DT and ST change. Maybe the newer ones do it automaticly.

How to tell time in Baja: Look to the east, see that beautiful sunrise over the Sea of Cortez? its morning! Look to the west, see that beautiful sunset over the mountains? Its night! Don't worry about it on the west coast its foggy and you can not see the sun anyway. Throw away those watches and let the batteries in the GPS go dead, its more fun that way.
