Is There Dish Network TV Reception in Mulege?

Anyone receiving Dish Network in Mulege?

If so, what size of antenna are you using?

Any channels you're missing?

Would welcome the info. tnx

Yes!! Use a 1.2 meter dish with a bracket to hold the second LNB, then a switch to bring them both together, and you can get Dish Network!!!!

I am doing it in Ejido San Lucas, 30 miles north of Mulege.

Are you using two LNBs to capture the two satellites at 110 and 119? Didn't know you could pull that off with a 1.2 meter antenna...

Cool, I didn't know you could do that! Was it hard to get the second LNB positioned right?

Are you using a combiner to merge the two signals or just a switch?

Wasn't easy! Lots of trial and error. And you use an SW21 to get Dish Net.

OK, back to the original question, I have one "yes" if we count Ejido San Lucas and one "no." Anyone else in Mulege, please speak up?

Yes and no. Since I mounted a 32 inch LCD High Def TV in my RV, I needed to get the 110, 119, & 129 satellites all at once.

So I got a new 3 LNB Dish 1000 setup with a tripod mount. It has an oval dish that is close to 1 meter across. I'm in Bahia Kino right now and it's working here. I'll be heading farther south in a couple of weeks and will let you know when I lose the signal.

Of course that will only prove how far south you can go on the mainland, due to the footprints of the satellites, it will probably be further than you can go in Baja.
