There goes another neighborhood(literally)
Are these type of big corporate restaurants becoming a famiar scene in your area? I shopped at the Mall up there and was amazed how few were in the
big department store.
After looking around for some household items we did make a couple purchaces but paid U.S. prices(at least).
What a shame the people of Mexico have to be subjected to this type of restaurant. Along with mass-produced food items on the menu comes the fat
laden and nutrient depleted meals which people eat more and more.
Don't be fooled, what you don't know about the manufacture and production of your dinner is probably something you don't really want to
know.
I could expound on this subject more but hey, everyone knows what they are doing to themselves with corporate fast food.
Right?
It's all about the bottom line Comitan, not your fine bottom!
.............and it's messing up society after society!

I'm looking forward to trying it, as to how busy the mall was during the week kind of slow, sat. and sun. you cannot find a parking place in that
whole area, unless you drive till someone leaves.

Do not fear it will be sucessful, Mexicans like fast food, and by the way the US is the fattest country and 2nd and probably going to overtake US is
Mexico. Right now up for vote in the Mexican senate is a new law that school children have to exercise before classes.

Applebees here in San Diego is not a Fast Food joint!
It is a casual dining and drinking place and is quite good... on par with Chilis, Spoons, etc. New menus I think I recall from the last time... go
there maybe every month or two.

We were "Shoppers" for AppleBees for 4 years....
Can you imagine getting PAID to eat????
It's bland, pedestrian, American food....
Nothing Special....
I could never explaine why it was ALWAYS full of people.
We used to hate to "have" to go....isn't that terrible?

Maybe you ordered wrong? Must be something to it if it is full of people and going international... you think??
I am not comparing it to Chef Johnny at the Half Way House, where each meal is induvidually prepared... or any other fine restaurant mind you.
Applebees is high and away better than Denny's and that is what I would call bland... a place where only in an emergency would I eat dinner at.

My confession-----------
I was a "shopper" for Jack-In-The-Box for 6 years, and I loved it. Never gained a pound. This was between marriages, and it sure saved me a lot of
time----no cooking!! I litterally ate at J-box 5 out of 7 nights a week.
Great food!!!!!!
Applebees here in Redding is as David K says-----pretty nice place.

Not exactly all.....
I don't consider a 14 gr fat per serving "low fat" and that is a chicken entree. I'm sure they are probably better nutritionally than others.
I don't think that by offering a meal of "non-fat" cheese ingredients is the correct route in dietary balance. WTF is that anyway? I didn't read much of the menu but it's like I said , they print positives and
avoid negatives. Look who provides the limited data. Why is everything all labled low fat and how can you do that with a fat based recipe?
Consider the sodium amounts and the MSG and other flavor masking/enhancing ingredients. Also consider the transfats that are used extensively in corp
kitchens. There has been a swing towards better nutrition but what is done to accomplish these feats is more rocket science than ordinary cooking.

Subjected to?
I guess they will force people to eat there and force them to pay for the privilige.
Applebees will do well.
<As long as they include lots of jalapenos and a big bowl of mayo with every order>
Mexicans adore American fast food. Not because it's fast or even food but because it's American.
