great shots!!!

here in ob we have a mating pair that live in the trees along the SD River between dog beach and sea world. last summer the wife and i were pumping ghost shrimp in the flats (bait) and saw one swoop up into a tree and grab a branch in its talons. it hung unpside down until the branch snapped then righted itself to fly off to where ever it was building its nest.

if anyone ever crosses the bridge over the river between ob and sea world, they are always sitting on the light poles eyeing the mullet below. every spring i wait to see the chicks following mom and pop, but so far, nada:no:.
