Gang Feds

MEXICO CITY -- Eleven federal agents were charged with kidnapping and murder for picking up four alleged drug hit men and possibly helping kill them, the Mexican attorney general's office said Thursday.
At least one of the presumed hit men was shot in the head, a killing recorded on a homemade DVD, excerpts of which were published Thursday on the Web sites of the Kitsap Sun and The Dallas Morning News.
Mexico's top anti-drug prosecutor, Jose Luis Vasconcelos, said the DVD was likely to spark a new wave of violence among traffickers looking to settle personal scores. The DVD killing probably was carried out as part of a dispute by rival drug gangs, Vasconcelos said.
Mexican officials said Thursday that they've known about the DVD for months. The men shown on the video are purported hit men for the Gulf cartel.
Jose Luis Manjarrez, spokesman for the attorney general's office, said authorities were investigating who made the DVD, as well as allegations by the men that they received protection from Mexican security forces.
"The authorities knew about this video months ago," Manjarrez said.
Manjarrez said that details on the DVD, like the discussion of the April killing of radio reporter Dolores Garcia Escamilla in northern Mexico, lend credence to its authenticity.
Presidential spokesman Ruben Aguilar declined to elaborate on the investigation.
"We do have information on the video. The attorney general's office is handling this case," he said.
Both newspapers posted excerpts of the DVD on their Web sites Thursday, but neither showed the shooting.
Two copies of the DVD, time-stamped May 16, were sent anonymously to Scott Ware, editor of the Kitsap Sun, last month. The Sun provided a copy to the Morning News after determining that the Dallas newspaper's Mexico City bureau had reported extensively on Garcia's death.
In the six weeks since then, the two newspapers have worked to make sense of the video, resulting in Thursday's in-depth report from Mexico City by Alfredo Corchado and Lennox Samuels. The Sun also provided a copy to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Reporters at the Kitsap Sun still are working to establish why the video was sent to Bremerton, and apparently not to other U.S. newspapers

And they made a DVD of the whole thing:?: Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are they!

Legalize mary jane.

Tried in Holland. Can buy the chit anywhere. How come they still discover illegal pot growing nurseries daily and distroy them??
And besides that, they have a runaway hard drug problem. Maybe Singapore has the right beginning of a solution ??:P:P:P:P
