South Campos Parade of lights?

Does any one from the campos south of San Felipe know if there is going to be a parade of lights this year and, if so, can you tell me the date?

Thanks! :D

Parade of Lights

Is on again this year. Randy Jr is chairman and I am co-chair. As always, it will start @ the Community Center. Are you interested in entering? The date is 12/30. Rob

Do you want more people?
I have a group from Colorado.
We will be camping at Nuevo Matzalan 12-23 to 1-6-06
There are several ATV?s
We could decorate
And join you
Where do you meet?
What time?
How far do you drive?
When is it over?

Praade of Lights

Thanks for your interest guys. Yes we want more people as size does matter. We meet @ the Community Center about 4:30 (Will firm up B4 event). The course is about 10 miles long and usually takes about 1.5 - 2 hours. There is no entry form but it would be helpful if you could provide the # of entrants and their names. We will look forward to meeting you and your participation. Rob

We'll be there with a bronco, 2 three-wheelers and 3-4 quads. I can't wait; it's always so much fun! I look forward to meeting some people from the board too.

Parade of Lights

is a celebration of the Christmas Season. Many of the South Campos residents decorate a wide range of vehicles including trucks, trailers. rails, buggies and ATVs with lights. Some are battery powered but most use small generators. The entrys are quite creative and we give trophys for the best of the best. We start and finish at the Community Center and much of the route runs on the beach. Thanks for asking. Rob

We are planning big fire on the beach in Front of Nuevo Mazatlan For the non Participants.

You should be in it. If you have a 12v to AC inverter it?s easy.
Buy some Christmas lights (2sets for $4.00 at Walgreen?s)
& tape them on ---It sounds and looked like fun we saw it last year

My wife Louise and I are riding our atv and I will probably run my helmet Cam
( I have never run it at night???)

Friday the 30th? We won't be leaving San Diego until Friday PM (after work), so unless the parade is at midnight... bummer! We probably will come down early Saturday morning... Have a great time and please take some photos to post here on Nomad!

If not sooner, see you Saturday afternoon! We will visit with BajaLou and company on our way south to Bahia Santa Maria and/or Shell Island!

It's probably too late for this year, but Camping World and other RV accessory sites sell all kinds of 12V lite strings for RV's, incuding xmas lites.
