Otay Mesa Costco and Home Depot


Can anyone give me good directions to the Home Depot and Costco in Otay Mesa when coming south accross the border?

Last time we were coming north through Tijuana it was dark, we missed a turn and ended up crossing at Otay Mesa. I'm sure I saw a Home Depot and Costco right near the border.

Now I'd like to go there on purpose. We will have a boat behind the motorhome and I'd rather not make wrong turns.

Also, does anyone know the weekend hours at those stores? Finally, one thing we need to buy is a generator. Home Depot should care them. Right?

Yes, Costco usually has generators. I would call ahead and make sure the HONDA model you want is there when you arrive. Home Depot sometimes carries them or can order one for you to have waiting.

Someone else can give you better directions than I.

Generators


It's been awhile since I priced Gas Generators at Costco in Mexicali, BUT when I did price one a little over a year ago, the cost for comparable units was about 55-60 % higher in Mexico than the U.S. Since the duty is no more than 19 %, I purchased the unit in the U.S. and paid duty.
