La Pinta Hotel - San Quintin

Located on miles and miles of sandy beach with nothing else around it, La Pinta makes for a nice respite. All rooms are ocean front with roomy balconies. No furniture on those balconies so we had to drag the chair from inside out there. All rooms have 2 double beds. Seems to have been recently redone ? bathroom looked new. They allows pets so the dogs had a great time running around leash free. The hotel has a nice restaurant ? we had dinner only there but it was quite good, especially the clam c-cktail! Hotel was a bit pricey at $79 but the food was reasonable. Bar was on the pricey side as well, $5 for a glass of wine. Hotel is south of San Quintin, right on the beach. Turn west at the Los Pinos plant off Carr. Transpeninsular and follow the signs. Website is www.lapintahotels.com ? for those that don?t know, the La Pinta hotels are the paradors of Mexico.

FYI It used to be that if you showed your FM-3 at check in at any La Pinta you would get a discount. Last time I tried was about a year ago at San Ignacio and it worked then.

La Pinta Discount card

If you take your FM3 to the La Pinta in Ensenada they give you adiscount card  from La Pinta that gives you a 40% discount on the rooms and a 10% discount on food and drinks. it works great. Mike and I stayed there Wed night and after we froze our fannies off in our new trailer at Cielito Lindo. we didn't have our propane hooked up yet. It was 30 degrees Tues night there. Can you believe that. Oh and La Pinta has new heater/ air conditioners that work great. The food is not bad it's edible but over priced. They did just remodel. It's a nice place to stay and the beach is fantastic. k:yes:
