Team CABO MAGIC Sportfishing Summary

Here is the Team CABO MAGIC Sportfishing Summary for 04-10 December 2005

85 Striped Marlin
55 Yellowfin Tuna
39 Dorado
1 Wahoo
4 Pargo (Red Snapper)
1 Mako Shark
13 Giant Squid
12 Sierra (Spanish Mackeral)
3 Skipjack
18 boats had no suerte (no luck)

This week we had an "On again Off again On again" bite at the Finger Bank for Striped Marlin which kept everyone wondering if the 60 mile each direction run would be productive - or not ... and offers proof that nothing is exact when it comes to fishing ? leading to the most common of sayings around the fishing community ?That?s why its called fishing!!?

What can be counted on is that guests aboard any TEAM CABO MAGIC Sportfishing Charter will be welcomed by a capable & hard working crew that wants to find fish for all our VIP Clients to catch!

Single engine cruisers & pangas have been mostly successful catching Pargo (Red Snapper) Sierra (Spanish Mackeral) as well as small Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna for exciting action, and of course, delicious eating! There have been some Striped Marlin releases. When the fish are within the distance a single engine cruiser and a panga can reach, anglers will find the same species as the larger cruisers and yachts. The amenities of the vessel are different.

It's so rewarding when fishing results in catching ... Clients that experience catching success you have earned bragging rights! For those whose time on the water was a day with no fish, we thank you for stopping by the office and letting us know how hard the crew tried to find what you were after. We know its difficult to imagine, however, everyone in our team wants you to catch fish so the disappointment is shared. The weather is fabulous! Comfortably warm sunny days -- Evening temperatures lend themselves to a warming after dinner drink. You will see an artful presentation of Mexican Coffee as all restaurants offer their version. We think they are delightfully entertaining & deserve applause. Definitely a memorable event and splendid finish to a wonderful dinner!

We again offer special thanks to guests who bring a thoughtful gift from their hometown to our crews. Your kindness is heartwarming and truly appreciated more than words can adequately express for them.

We encourage you to do research in preparation for your trip. We respectfully suggest while here on vacation you not do anything you would not do back home. Chartering a boat from someone wandering the marina with a clipboard or looseleaf book filled with boat photos, or from a booth on the dock, can be likened to buying a watch from a man in a trenchcoat. Our booth is strictly a meeting point at 6:30am for boats that depart from that area of the marina. Our office has been in the same location for nearly four years. Think at least twice about something that seems 'too good to be true'. We do not have staff wandering the marina offering to charter CABO MAGIC Sportfishing Team boats for less than advertised on our website. You cannot rent a Hummer for the price of a Volkswagen .. for those of you that don't know the difference in boats - remember "You Get What You Pay For!" We invite you to read VIP Client Letters http://www.cabomagic.com/Letters.aspx sent to us by folks just like you reading this report today, after their wonderful CABO MAGIC Sportfishing experience. Our office walls are covered with VIP Client Photos we are happy to receive.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard too. We will do everything possible to make your sportfishing adventure a wonderful experience.
